Kangwon Land announced on the 25th that it signed an MOU to exchange slot machines with Singapore's slot machine manufacturer "Wiki" in Malaysia and that the two companies will jointly market and sell them.
The signing ceremony was held in Shah Alam, Malaysia, where Wiki's manufacturing plant is located, and officials from the two companies, including Lee Sam-gul, CEO of Kangwon Land, and Daven Tay, Executive Director of Wiki, attended.
Under the agreement, the two companies will exchange 12 slot machines manufactured by each company by the first quarter of next year, while Wiki's slot machines will be placed at Kangwon Land Casino and KL Saberi slot machines at large casinos in Cambodia.
With this agreement, Gangwon Land will not only reduce the cost of purchasing slot machines, but will also be able to introduce various machines to customers. In addition, with the entry of the KL Saberi slot machine into Cambodia, it will be able to accelerate its entry into the Asian market through joint marketing and sales with Wiki.
Gangwon Land CEO Lee Sam-gul said, "This agreement will be carried out through internal review after receiving Wiki's collaboration proposal at the G2E Gaming Expo held in Singapore last year."
